Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 large eggs
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    nuts, chopped very fine (pecans are the favorite)
Preparation
    Mix well and divide into 3 or 4 parts.
    Form into long roll and let stand until hard (refrigerator).
    Slice into thin slices; bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Remove from pan while warm to avoid breaking.
    Will keep indefinitely.
    I like keeping rolls in freezer to bake as needed.
    Been making (mother's helper) since 10 years old.
