Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar and peanut butter until smooth.
Add eggs, then flour which has been sifted together with soda.
Mix good.
Roll into small balls and with wet fork flatten in a crisscross design.
Bake at 400\u00b0 about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes about 4 dozen.
