Ingredients

1 c. self-rising flour
1 1/4 c. sugar, divided
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. melted oleo
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
4 Tbsp. cocoa, divided
1 1/2 c. hot water
Preparation

Combine flour, 3/4 cup sugar and 2 tablespoons cocoa.
Stir in milk, oleo and vanilla.
Pour into a 9-inch square pan.
Mixture will be thick.
Combine 1 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa and salt. Mix well and sprinkle over batter.
Pour water over top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
This is real good served with ice cream.
