Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. coconut
1 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 stick oleo
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. raw, quick cooking oats
Preparation

Put sugar and cocoa in saucepan; stir together.
Add milk, butter and salt; bring to a boil.
Remove from heat and stir in rolled oats, vanilla and coconut.
Drop by teaspoons on wax paper.
Makes 24 cookies.
