Scalloped Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium size head cabbage
    water
    1 stick oleo
    crackers or bread crumbs
    1 (6 oz.) roll Smokelle cheese
    1 can cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
Preparation
    Slice cabbage in 1/2-inch round slices.
    Cook in small amount of water until almost done.
    Don't overcook.
    Drain; put half of cabbage in a greased baking dish.
    Cut up butter and cheese using half of each.
    Spread this with half of soup, then add rest of cabbage, butter, cheese and soup.
    Cover with crumbled soda crackers or bread crumbs and bake at 350\u00b0 until it bubbles. Serves 8.
