Spoon Bread(Yields 12 Servings) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. cornmeal
2 c. boiling water
4 Tbsp. melted sweet butter
1 1/2 c. milk
3 egg yolks
Preparation

Scald cornmeal with water, stir thoroughly, then cool.
Add melted fat, egg yolks and milk.
Beat egg whites and fold in.
The batter should be quite thin.
Pour into greased baking dish and bake 30 to 40 minutes in moderate oven (350\u00b0).
Serve from baking dish with spoon.
