Low-Fat Banana Bread - cooking recipe

2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 c. applesauce
1 c. granulated sugar
3 egg whites
4 large, ripe bananas, mashed
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Spray an 8 x 4 x 3-inch loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Combine first 4 ingredients; set aside. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together applesauce, sugar, egg whites, bananas and vanilla.
Add flour mixture all at once and stir gently to blend.
Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and bake for 50 to 60 minutes.
Cool bread completely before slicing.
