Snickerdoodles Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. sugar mixed with 2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix together shortening, butter, sugar and eggs.
    Sift together flour, cream of tartar, baking powder and salt.
    Add to the other mixture and stir.
    Roll into 1-inch balls, then roll into mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 400\u00b0 for 6 to 8 minutes.
