Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. margarine
1 c. coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
shortening
1/2 c. milk
3 c. rolled oats
1/3 c. cocoa
dash of salt
Preparation

Boil in a pan a bit after the shortening melts the brown sugar, milk and margarine.
Add rolled oats, coconut, cocoa, vanilla and dash of salt.
Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Cool.
