Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 1/2 c. flour (plain)
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 Tbsp. milk

Preparation

Mix butter, shortening and sugar.
Add egg.
Mix well.
Add soda to flour and add to mixture.
Mix well.
Add milk.
Use teaspoon to make ball of dough.
Press dough with glass bottom dipped in sugar.
Bake at 400\u00b0.
Bakes fast and cookies should be removed from cookie sheet immediately.
