Sour Cream Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. butter
    1 egg (unbeaten)
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    2/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. broken walnuts
Preparation
    Sift flour once.
    Measure and add dry ingredients, then sift 3 times.
    Cream butter thoroughly, gradually adding sugar.
    Cream well.
    Add egg, nuts and raisins.
    Stir well.
    Add flour mixture alternately with sour cream.
    Drop by teaspoonful on an ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Makes 3 to 4 dozen.
