Portuguese Sweet Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 lb. flour
3/4 lb. butter or margarine
3 1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. canned milk
3/4 c. water
13 eggs
3/4 Tbsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 3/4 c. water (approximately)
6 pkg. yeast
3 Tbsp. Crisco solid (not oil)
Preparation

Proceed as for any sweet dough.
After second rising, brush loaves with egg wash before baking.
(Egg wash, well beaten eggs.)
