Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Cream shortening, peanut butter and sugar until smooth.
Add eggs, then flour sifted with baking powder.
Roll into small balls. Place on cookie sheet.
With a wet fork, flatten in a crisscross design.
Bake at 440\u00b0 about 10 minutes.
Yield:
4 dozen.
