1/2 c. margarine or butter
1/2 c. vegetable shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. Flavorite crispy rice
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
In large bowl combine margarine and shortening.
Add sugar, eggs and vanilla; beat until fluffy. Stir in flour and baking soda.
Stir in cereal; mix well.
Drop by level tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.
Let cool 1 minute before removing from cookie sheet.
Makes about 6 dozen.
