Ingredients

2/3 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. crushed pineapple and juice
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar; add unbeaten eggs.
Beat well. Add pineapple and vanilla.
Add flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder.
Mix very little.
Drop by teaspoons onto a well-greased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Makes about 25 cookies.
