Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
1/2 c. orange juice
2 Tbsp. hot water
1/2 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
2 Tbsp. orange rind, grated
1 c. raw cranberries
1 jar (small) maraschino cherries, drained
Preparation

Sift the dry ingredients into a mixing bowl and set aside. In another bowl, mix the egg, margarine, juice and water.
Add the dry ingredients and mix well.
Mix in the nuts, orange rind, cranberries and cherries.
Pour mixture into one 9 x 5 x 3-inch greased loaf pan or two 7 x 3 x 2-inch loaf pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or 40 minutes for smaller loaves.
Remove and cool. Wrap in plastic.
