Bubble Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. scalded milk
    1/2 c. shortening oil
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 yeast cakes or 2 pkg. dry yeast
    2 eggs, beaten
    4 1/2 c. flour
    1 stick butter or oleo
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients together; cool to lukewarm.
    Add yeast to mixture.
    Add eggs and flour.
    Mix to soft dough; place on floured board.
    Knead until smooth and elastic, not sticky.
    Place in greased bowl; cover with damp cloth.
    Let rise until double in bulk.
    Punch down, let rest 10 minutes.
    Melt butter in small pan.
    Mix sugar, cinnamon, nuts and raisins in bowl.
    Make dough into small balls about the size of a walnut.
    Roll each in melted butter, then sugar mixture.
    Place in greased angel cake pan in staggered rows and layers.
    Let rise and then bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
    Turn out on plate or board.
