Ingredients

1 c. raisins
1/2 c. dates
1/2 c. apples
3 tsp. Sweet 'N Low or substitute
1 c. water
1/2 c. Crisco
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
2 eggs, beaten well
1 pkg. pecans
Preparation

Boil together dates, raisins, apples and water for 8 minutes. Add Crisco.
While mixture is still hot, set pan in cold water to cool.
Add flour, eggs and sweetener and add vanilla and nuts. Put in fridge to chill before dropping on greased cookie sheet by teaspoonful.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Each cookie equals 50 calories or 1 fruit serving.
