Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
2 eggs
3 bananas
1/4 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. melted shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Stir together first 6 ingredients.
Then mix together remaining ingredients.
Add all at once to dry mixture, stirring only enough to moisten dry mixture.
Turn into greased (bottom only) 9 1/2 x 5 1/4 x 2 3/4-inch loaf pan or two small loaf pans and spread batter evenly to corners.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for one hour. Cool 10 minutes, then turn out on rack.
