Smothered Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 fryer (2 1/2 to 3 lb.), cut up
1/2 c. water
2 Tbsp. butter
salt and pepper
Preparation

Place pieces of chicken in a 2-quart casserole.
Add water, butter, salt and pepper to taste.
Cover and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
