Congealed Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 bananas, sliced
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    2 pkg. strawberries (frozen)
    3 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    12 oz. sour cream
    1/2 c. pecans, chopped fine (optional)
Preparation
    Prepare jello by directions on box minus/cup was ???.
    Let jello get heavy in the refrigerator.
    After jello gets thick, mix in pineapple, strawberries and sliced bananas.
    Divide jello and let 1/2 congeal.
    After it congeals, put sour cream on top and sprinkle pecans.
    Pour remaining jello over cream and nuts; congeal.
    Serve on lettuce leaves.
