Mexican Wedding Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter (unsalted), softened
    1/3 c. granulated sugar
    2 tsp. almond flavoring
    2 c. plain flour
    1 c. pecans, ground coarse
    powdered sugar
    2 tsp. water
Preparation
    Beat butter for 45 seconds.
    Add granulated sugar and beat until fluffy.
    Add almond flavoring and 2 teaspoons water.
    Stir in flour and pecans.
    Shape into balls, fingers or crescents.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for approximately 20 minutes.
    Do not brown!
    Cool slightly.
    Shake gently in a bag with powdered sugar.
