Oatmeal Scotchies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. margarine or butter, softened
3/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
3 c. Quaker oats
1 (12 oz.) pkg. Nestle butterscotch morsels
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Beat margarine, eggs and vanilla until creamy.
Gradually add combined flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
Mix well.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Drop by level measuring tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 7 to 8 minutes for chewy cookies or 9 to 10 minutes for crispy cookies, or 20 to 30 minutes for burnt cookies, HA HA.
Just kidding.
Cool for 2 minutes on cookie sheet, then remove to wire rack and cool completely.
