Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. coconut or raisins
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. rolled oats
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugars.
Add eggs, one at a time, and beat thoroughly after each addition.
Add vanilla and dry ingredients which have been sifted together.
Add rolled oats, coconut or raisins and Rice Krispies.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Yields 8 dozen.
