Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 stick butter
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. salt
3 c. quick cooking oats
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. broken nuts
1 c. coconut
Preparation

Put sugar, milk, butter, cocoa and salt in a large saucepan; bring to a boil.
Remove from heat.
Stir in rolled oats, vanilla, nuts and coconut.
Drop from teaspoon onto waxed paper.
Yields 4 dozen.
