Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. oats
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 to 3 eggs
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
3/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream butter and shortening; gradually add sugars, beating until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla, beating well. Combine oats, flour, soda and salt.
Add to creamed mixture.
Stir in morsels and pecans.
Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 14 minutes.
