Onion Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 can dry onion soup mix (1/4 c.)
    1/2 c. softened butter or margarine
    2 loaves French bread
Preparation
    Combine soup mix and butter.
    Slice bread almost through. Spread butter on one side of each slice.
    Wrap loaves in aluminum foil.
    Heat at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
