Slice And Bake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. plus 6 Tbsp. unsifted flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. butter, softened
    1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
    3 c. chocolate chips
    1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine flour, baking soda and salt.
    Set aside.
    Combine butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla; beat until creamy.
    Beat in eggs.
    Gradually add flour mixture.
    Mix well.
    Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
    Wrap in waxed paper.
    Chill 1 hour until firm.
    Divide dough into 4 parts.
    On wax paper, shape each part into 9 inch roll.
    Cut each chilled roll into nine 1-inch slices.
    Cut each slice into 4 quarters.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0.
    May refrigerate up to 1 week or freeze.
