Peanut Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. margarine or butter, softened
    1/2 c. peanut butter
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    1 3/4 c. all-purpose or unbleached flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    In large bowl, beat sugar, brown sugar and margarine until light and fluffy.
    Add peanut butter, milk, vanilla and egg; blend well.
    Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.
    Stir in flour, baking soda and salt; mix well.
    Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
    Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
    Flatten in crisscross pattern with fork dipped in sugar. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheets.
    Makes 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
