Ingredients

1 1/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 qt. chocolate (baking)
1/2 c. shortening, melted
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Melt chocolate and shortening together.
Add sugar, milk, egg and vanilla with melted shortening.
Add to dry ingredients.
Let stand 10 minutes or more.
Drop with teaspoon on baking sheet and bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
When cool, frost with frosting of your choice.
