Strawberry Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. strawberry preserves
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Heat oven to 325\u00b0.
Grease bottom of loaf pan.
Cream margarine and sugar.
Add vanilla and eggs.
Beat well.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Combine buttermilk and preserves.
Add dry mixture and milk mixture alternately, beating only enough to mix. Stir in nuts.
Bake for approximately 1 1/2 hours.
Cool in pan for 15 minutes before removing to cooling rack.
