Brown Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. raisins
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. boiling water
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    1 beaten egg
    3/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix the dried fruit, oil and baking soda with boiling water; let cool.
    Beat in sugar, flour and egg.
    Turn into well oiled 8 x 4-inch loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
