Spanish Rice With Pork Chops - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 to 8 (1/2-inch thick) pork chops
2 Tbsp. shortening
1 tsp. salt
1/2 to 1 tsp. chili powder
dash of pepper
1 c. uncooked long grain rice
2/3 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
29 oz. can crushed tomatoes
16 oz. can tomato sauce
5 green pepper rings
2 oz. sharp processed American cheese, shredded
Preparation

Trim excess fat from chops.
Slowly brown chops about 15 to 20 minutes.
Drain excess fat.
