Ingredients

1 c. butter, melted
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
2 1/4 c. flour
2 c. chocolate chips
1 c. nuts (optional)
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream butter, sugars and flavoring until light and fluffy. Add eggs; beat well.
Combine flour and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture.
Stir in chips and nuts.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
Yields 6 dozen.
