Shortbread Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter (1/2 margarine, 1/2 butter)
    1/2 lb. icing sugar
    4 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. vanilla
    nuts (if desired)
Preparation
    Cream
    butter and margarine.
    Add sugar and cream again. Add flour
    gradually.
    Add
    vanilla
    and nuts.
    Shape in small rolls and freeze.
    Cut slices to your desired thickness.
    Bake until brown around edges at 350\u00b0.
