Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
2 sq. melted chocolate
2 beaten eggs
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 to 1 c. nuts (optional; pecans are best)
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar. Add chocolate and well beaten eggs. Alternate the mixture with milk and dry ingredients. Drop from spoon on greased baking sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 12 minutes. When cool, ice with favorite butter icing.
