Molasses Cream Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. molasses
    1 c. sour milk
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    Refrigerate for 1 hour or more.
    Roll out on floured board and cut into favorite shapes or roll in hand to the size of a walnut.
    Then roll in white sugar and press down with glass.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
    May frost when cooled. Makes 8 dozen soft cookies.
