Mom'S Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. orange juice
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 Tbsp. grated orange rind
2 Tbsp. melted shortening (Crisco)
1 c. raw cranberries chopped (I use Ocean Spray)
Preparation

Grease & flour a 9x5x3 loaf pan.
Mix all of the ingredients together by hand or with mixer.
Put dough in pan, let it rise for at least 30 minutes.
Bake in oven at 350 for 1 hour.
To test if loaf is done, stick a toothpick in and if it comes out clean, it's ready. This recipe makes one loaf.
