Garlic Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 clove garlic or 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/3 c. margarine or butter (at room temperature)
    1 (1 lb.) loaf French bread
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Peel and finely chop garlic; mix garlic with margarine or butter.
    Cut bread crosswise into 1-inch slices. Spread margarine mixture over 1 side of each bread slice. Reassemble the loaf; wrap securely in heavy-duty aluminum foil. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until hot.
