Italian Pepper Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. shortening plus 2 Tbsp.
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. nuts
    3 shots whiskey or wine
Preparation
    Sift all dry ingredients; cream shortening and sugar.
    Add dry ingredients and mix.
    Put whiskey in milk.
    Make small balls and place on greased sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Makes 6 to 8 dozen.
