Congo Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. + 1 Tbsp. margarine
    2 c. brown sugar
    3 eggs
    2 1/2 c. flour, sifted
    2 tsp. baking powder
    dash of salt
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Melt margarine in saucepan over medium heat.
    Remove from heat and stir in sugar.
    Stir in eggs, one at a time.
    Stir in sifted flour and dry ingredients. Add chocolate chips and nuts.
    Spread in greased 10 x 15-inch cookie sheet with sides.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    When cool, cut into bars.
