Old-Fashioned Very Moist Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. margarine
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
4 c. flour

Preparation

Mix ingredients in order listed.
Form into balls.
Flatten with fork to make an imprint.
Sprinkle with sugar or decorate with pecans, cherries or icing in your favorite flavor or design.
