Fresh Fried Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 ears corn
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/4 c. water
    1/8 c. bacon drippings
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Cut corn off cob and scrape cob.
    Add salt, pepper and sugar. Add water.
    Pour corn mixture into a hot skillet that contains the bacon drippings.
    As corn cooks, add butter.
    Cook on medium heat until corn thickens.
    Reduce heat and let cook for about 30 minutes.
