Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. shortening (Crisco)
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped bananas
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
Preparation

Cream together shortening, sugar and eggs; beat well.
Sift dry ingredients.
Add to cream mix.
Alternate bananas, blending well after each addition.
Stir in nuts.
Bake in well-greased loaf pans.
Remove from pans.
Cool on rack.
Wrap and store overnight.
