Ingredients

1 c. oil
1 c. margarine
1 c. sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda
Preparation

Beat together oil and margarine. Beat in granulated sugar. Beat in powdered sugar.
Beat in eggs, one at a time. Blend in vanilla. Blend in mixed dry ingredients. Chill, overnight is best. Roll into small balls. Roll in granulated sugar.
Flatten with a fork.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes until very light brown. Cookies are rich.
If using no stick sheets, no greasing is necessary.
