Pineapple Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple in heavy syrup
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 (6 oz.) lemon Jell-O
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
Preparation
    Combine pineapple and sugar in a pan.
    Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
    Remove from heat; add Jell-O, stirring until dissolved.
    Cool.
    Add buttermilk and stir until combined. Fold in Cool Whip.
    Chill overnight.
