California Ranger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. milk
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. oatmeal
    2 c. corn flakes
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    raisins (if desired)
Preparation
    Mix together the shortening and sugars.
    Add milk, eggs and vanilla.
    Sift together the dry ingredients and add slowly to mixture.
    Stir well.
    By hand, fold in cereals, nuts and raisins. Form into balls about 1 1/2 inches in diameter and place on cookie sheet.
    Press slightly with a teaspoon.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
