Triple Ginger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter, room temperature
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 egg
    1/4 c. molasses
    2-1/4 c. unbleached flour
    1-1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. ground ginger
    2 Tbsp. fresh, grated gingerroot
    1/2 c. finely chopped crystallized ginger
Preparation
    Cream together butter and brown sugar.
    Beat in eggs and molasses until combined.
    Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, and ground ginger.
    Stir into butter mixture.
    Stir gingerroot and crystallized ginger into batter.
