Grandma'S Peanut Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup shortening
    1 cup peanut butter (crunchy or smooth)
    1 cup sugar
    1 cup packed brown sugar (light or dark)
    3 eggs
    3 cups all-purpose flour
    2 teaspoons baking soda
    1/4 teaspoon salt
Preparation
    In a mixing bowl.
    Cream shortening, peanut butter and sugars. Add eggs one at a time.
    Beating well after each addition.
    Combine flour, baking soda and salt.
    Gradually add to creamed mixture. Roll into 1 1/2 balls and place 3 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet.
    Flatten with a fork.
    Bake at 375 for 10 - 15 minutes or until bottoms are lightly browned.
    Remove to wire racks to cool.
