Pecan Crunch Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. crushed potato chips
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Cream together butter, sugar and vanilla.
    Add crushed potato chips and pecans.
    Stir in flour.
    Form into small balls, using 1 tablespoon dough for each.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press balls flat with bottom of a tumbler dipped in sugar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until cookies are lightly browned, about 16 to 18 minutes. If desired, sprinkle with red or green sugar crystals, or top with pecan or cherry half.
    Makes 42.
